any scissors are good your angle depends on your ideal look but i cut at a slightly upward angle
user a hand mirror and hold it in front of you so you can see the back of your head in your bathroom mirror ( im just assuming that’s the biggest mirror in you house if not then use the biggest mirror in your house so you can see your entire head) you need to cut off about an inch for split ends but it really depends on if you want layers or not ect. because the different layers or your hair will need to be cut as different layers

it takes alot of practice so be prepared to mes it up

yes doit . cut it really short on top and leave it long in the back thats how they cut it in boot camp. but you have to doit with scissors.

No. But you can get a clipper for about $15, and it will pay for itself within 2 months.

for less than the cost of a haircut you can buy clippers. at target for example. save hundreds on haircuts from now on.

Have you looked at the site eHow I know they give videos on how to cut hair. I will go see if they have military hair cuts.EDIT: all I saw was clipper cuts...I know many people would be willing to give you a good haircut just to give back for your service so hang in there you will find someone who will help you out.

Not without looking like a mess unless you take a ton of time to just keep clipping along the scalp till you have it all even. Don’t you know anyone with a set of clippers? Call around, someone you know HAS to have a set. You can do that without a guard on and you’ll be cut close and tidy.

I’m not a hairstyles.
But i know the difference between getting them done.
When you razor your hair it more just thins it out. Like when i had my friends do it the layers were a tad different and a lot thinner! But it didnt really look that much different.
And scissor dont make it thinner.

Overtime it will grow quicker. I’ve had mine thinned out and it stayed pretty thin until after 3-4 months I noticed it getting a tad bit poofy.

i have really thick hair too and thinning your hair isn’t the best thing for it there are different ways to manage thicker hair but to answer your question no its not permanent it does grow back

no i do it. i have thick hair too. after awhile it will thicken out Again. its a good idea. just make sure you don’t do it to much, because if its over thinned it will get poufy and look thicker so do it every few months
